That’s why our members must undergo a certification process and are recertified every year. The certification process consists of three parts: a legal test, financial monitoring, and a security scan.
All Thuiswinkel.org members are recertified every year. Thanks to this periodic check, you and your customers are secure in the knowledge that you will continue to comply with the applicable laws and regulations relating to the duty of disclosure, privacy, right of withdrawal, repayment, and dispute settlement.
The entire process from application to receiving the trustmark takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks. Your website should be up and running by then, and you will be able to implement our recommendations in the near future. During the certification process, e-tailers can temporarily use the Thuiswinkel Generic General Terms and Conditions.
