Home-shopping turnover 2000-2010 Home-shopping in the Netherlands is definitely on the rise, as can be seen from the turnover statistics. Whilst in 2000 the turnover was a mere 1.5 billion euros, in 2009 it is currently 6.9 billion euros. This means it has more than quadrupled. The graphs clearly show a bigger growth in turnover since 2007 in comparison with previous years.
The following tables distinguish between the turnover for ‘online shopping’ and ‘other channels’. Over the years the turnover for the ‘other channels’ has fallen to about half a billion euros. The entire home-shopping turnover can currently be put down almost entirely to ‘online shopping’.
