- Reinforcing European lobby activities in the field of laws and legislation
- Influencing the Europeanization of payment transactions (SEPA and e-SEPA)
Lobby issues
- Avoiding the introduction of an extra 14-day period for returning goods, after completion of the 14-day withdrawal period
- Preventing the obligation upon web-shops for luxury products to have a physical shop
- Developing a European hallmark for cross-border web-shops
- Solving VAT problems in cross-border online transactions
Other goals and activities
- Mapping out international payment possibilities for Dutch home-retailers;
- Mapping out the most important barriers to cross-border business transactions with consumers that are due to (European) laws and legislation
