Thuiswinkel.org membership costs
Contributions for membership start at €150.00 (excl. VAT) per year, based on the contribution ladder that has been drawn up. The contribution for candidate-members is €150.00 (excl. VAT) per calendar year.
For annual certification members pay €390.00 (excl. VAT) per year and candidate-members pay €290.00 (excl. VAT) per year to the Thuiswinkel Waarborg Certification Foundation.
A single charge of €75.00 (excl. VAT) is imposed for administration costs for processing an application for membership.
For normal members, Thuiswinkel.org charges contribution based on the turnover realised from distance sales to consumers in the Netherlands during the previous calendar year. A number of contribution scales exist. Each year members are obliged to complete a (/an accountant’s) statement indicating the turnover realised via distance sales.
The turnovers that companies in a holding have achieved via distance selling to consumers are combined in order to determine the size of the holding’s contribution. A (/an accountant’s) statement over the total sum must be handed over, showing which operating companies or labels of the holding are involved.
If a holding becomes a member and one or more of its operating companies or labels were already members, the contribution of the holding will be corrected by the contribution already paid by the operating companies or labels.
